Flavour.ie is proud to present a Masterclass with Decky Walsh, one of Ireland's foremost Pitmasters and expert in cooking low and slow over smoke and fire – the most elemental cookery method that is literally as old as time. Chef Walsh heads up the team of Cork’s most on-trend restaurant Holy Smoke and is coming to West Cork to deliver a not-to-be-missed Pitmaster Masterclass!

During this 4-hour long Masterclass, you will learn from the best in business all about creating brines and rubs; how to get flavour into your charcoal, and the difference between smoking, grilling, pit roasting and many other methods of cooking with fire.

This event will be hands-on and as interactive as we can get you to be!  All the food that Decky will use in his demonstration will be cooked and served as an epic feast to finish off the day!  This is a completely unique food experience where you will learn everything you need to know to begin your very own Pitmaster journey.

The finale will be the uncovering of the pit smoker which will have been cooking overnight. Although the event ends at 7pm, stay for sundowners and eat until everything is gone - a Low & Slow Day from start to finish!

Tickets are €75pp and includes access to the Masterclass, refreshments and all the Pitsmoked food you can handle!
